ASA DataFest 2023

April 14-15

DataFest is nearly here! Students’ presentations will start at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 15th in 142 Middlebush Hall. Please join us and cheer on your friends and fellow students.

Interested in a career in data science?

Please join us for a career panel given by two industry professionals currently in the field. Shawn Crowley and Bingyuan Liu will each share their valuable insights. After their presentations, they’ll answer your questions during a Q&A. The event will start at 7:30 p.m. directly following the DataFest presentations on Saturday, April 15th in 142 Middlebush Hall.

Shawn Crowley, Early Talent Acquisition and University Campus Recruitment at Marvell Technology, will discuss how to navigate the job market and share tips and tricks for success in a changing economy.

Bingyuan Liu, a data scientist at Google, will discuss what it’s like to be a statistician at Google.

Note: The career discussion is open to any student interested. You do not have to attend the DataFest presentations to attend.
